Father's Day!

I have not written a post for a while. There have been so man changes in my life and I hope to address more of them in the future on this blog. Restarting my blog has been a goal of mine since I stopped posting. The posts themes and content needed to be changed somewhat to follow along with the changes in Mr. Man's life and our life together. Since Father's Day is coming up I figured starting off with a father / male role model would be a perfect way to start as my love for the men who are so graciously in our lives needed to be thanked. One small Facebook status could not contain all that need to be said about them. I doubt this blog post will but it is a great way to start!
I want to first talk about my Mr. Man, who probably will never read this. My little man has so much intelligence and energy pouring out from such a little person that I cannot wait to see what the future holds for him. I am so honored to be his mom. He will always be my Mr. Man with a plan.
My father is such an amazing man and has done so much to support all of his children. Some day I hope to be more succesful in life so that I can at least pay him back some fraction of the support (emotionally,  mentally, physically,  and financially) he has graciously provided my son and myself. had put up with more than he should  from myself as well as curve balls thrown at him. I could not have asked for a better father.
My brother is so amazing to my little man. We have our sibling issues but at the end of the day I could never ask for a better uncle to my son. He is such a great male role model for my little man. Some day he will make an amazing dad.
My grandfather is one of the most intelligent men I ever met. I wish I could have inherited more of his genius. It is such a blessing what time he gets with my little man and I hope that my little man can absorb so much of my grandfather's knowledge. His love for all of his family is something I hope passes on for generations.
Lastly I have an amazing man in my life who cares deeply about not only myself but my little man as well. He goes above and beyond to prove to me that he respects my family and myself. Watching him treat my son with so much kindness and genuine care makes me so happy that I finally have a great man in my life. I cannot wait to see what our future holds.
My mother and all my other amazing female role models all hold their own pieces to my heart too. At a later date I would love to futher address their greatness and my love for them, but tonight, with Father's Day around the corner, the men in my life need to be thanked and praised for going above and beyond the call of duty. I love all these men so much and I am so happy that they all care about each other. I hope that I get to keep learning new things from all these men, especially little man, for years to come.

Mr. Man's First Concert

Mr. Man loved going to StarFest.  He loved, Parachute, Michelle Branch, and the Goo Goo Dolls.  He loved watching Parachute.  Michelle Branch and the Goo Goo Dolls were the two he danced to the most and he even tried to wave to the Goo Goo Dolls.  The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater staff was so nice, they gave Mr. Man ear plugs and let us move up the lawn.  Mr. Man loved watching the show from the lawn.

Earphones are awesome.  They are the best sound I have heard out of any headphones in a long time.  Just make sure if you get them to put the right size on to the earphones or they will fall out.  The sound is so crisp and clear and I love it.  I understand why 75% of tour musicians use this company.
